Sharon Tang

As an Assistant Manager at Rolling Books, Sharon brings over five years of dedicated experience in social innovation and entrepreneurship to her advocacy for inclusivity and dignity in Hong Kong.

With a background in Public Administration and Sociology, Sharon has engaged with social entrepreneurs across Taiwan, Beijing and beyond, fostering a deep understanding of diverse perspectives and needs within different communities. Inspired by personal experiences, including caring for her grandfather, she is driven to support the challenges facing Hong Kong’s aging population.

Currently serving as Assistant Manager at Rolling Books, a mobile reading initiative promoting intergenerational inclusion, Sharon is deeply committed to bridging gaps and fostering connections within her community. She’s looking forward to collaborating with fellow advocates through the Fellowship to champion initiatives that enhance the wellbeing and dignity of senior citizens across Hong Kong.

Away from work, Sharon is passionate about gender equality issues and has co-founded “More Than Gender” with her friends to promote the concept of gender equality to the public through various means. At all times, Sharon remains steadfast in her commitment to creating a more inclusive and compassionate society.
