Puki is currently a Program Worker at Caritas Youth and Community Service, working to support non-Chinese parents and Children. Her goal is to be able to provide easy access to education resources and career development to more non-Chinese households.
Puki was born in Hong Kong and raised in Nepal. She returned to Hong Kong in her late teens, unsure of how she would adapt to life back here. Over time, her new adult life in Hong Kong helped her hone her survival skills and abilities, and she supported herself through University by working in the food and beverage industry.
Her motivation to advocate for social issues first began when she worked as a Program Officer for a charity called Move4Migrants. Here she led programs for multicultural communities across all age groups, organizing sports programs for children, tech literacy programs for mothers, seminars related to Diasporic Cinema for youth and health camps for older adults and women. To this day, she is still actively working to realize her vision.
Her vision led her to Resolve’s Fellowship, where she hopes to learn from people who are experts in their fields, gain more leadership skills, and develop as an individual. In her free time, Puki enjoys crocheting, doodling, journaling and film photography.
