Indonesian Hong Konger Eny is committed to raising awareness of mental health concerns in the migrant domestic worker (MDW) community. She joined the Fellowship to learn more from experienced fellows and mentors. In the future, she wants to launch an online wellbeing program accessible to all.

Though Eny was not born and raised in Hong Kong, she regards it as the city where she grew up and found home. As a melting pot of different cultures and races, she hopes to see Hong Kong become more proactive in promoting and celebrating its diversity as its strength.

Employed as a MDW, Eny has witnessed how the MDW community is stigmatized. She hopes to uplift the MDWs community and promote mental health by collaborating with various local organizations. She also founded her own project entitled Self Love Cupid, a platform dedicated to sharing inspiring and motivational pieces on self love and mental health topics. She also leads mental health workshops and weekly group discussions. In addition, Eny was an ambassador for a project at RainLily, a sexual violence crisis centre in the city and until today, continues to participate in the nonprofit’s sexual violence prevention workshops. Furthermore, Eny has collaborated with Confidein.care to organize a mental health awareness program for MDWs and remains involved with other organizations and individuals, which target members of the Indonesian MDW community to improve their wellbeing.

Through the Fellowship, Eny is keen to learn from mentors and fellows alike to strengthen her initiatives and gain knowledge on mental wellbeing. Her long-term goal is to expand Self Love Cupid into a well-structured online wellbeing program focused on cultivating self-love, building resilience, and striving to improve oneself in the face of challenges. She hopes to make the program accessible to the MDW community, and extend its reach to any community in need. She is also an aspiring writer focusing on self help and well-being topics.

In her spare time Eny likes reading, cooking and experimenting with new cuisines, and taking long walks. She is also fond of dressing up , and dancing away to her favorite beats.
