Edmond is a passionate education innovator dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued by providing equal access to educational opportunities. He hopes to meet passionate friends and create a better community together through joining the Fellowship.

Edmond sees Hong Kong as a city with a rich culture and resilient people. He is committed to using his leadership skills to drive positive change and create a better community by collaborating with like-minded individuals despite challenges of recent years. His goal is to improve access to quality education because he firmly believes it is the foundation of a better society for future generations.

Growing up in an underprivileged family has helped Edmond overcome different barriers at a younger stage in life. Despite the lack of resources and exposure, he feels privileged to have been admitted to a university that provided him with new opportunities beyond his community.

Edmond currently works as a consultant for GDI, an organization that collaborates with social impact sectors to drive systemic change. Before his current role, he was a former team member of Teach For Hong Kong and Ednovators. To him, quality education refers to how every individual, regardless of their socio-economic background, ethnicity, gender, or any other characteristic, should have equal opportunities to access quality education. Education can empower students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to lead fulfilling lives in the future. More importantly, inclusivity should extend beyond education to encompass our entire society.

As a Fellow, Edmond is eager to expand his network and connect with visionary individuals and organizations. He also values thought leadership and wants to enhance his ability to drive collaborative efforts towards making positive changes in the society. Edmond likes to go hiking, watching films and seeing people through conversations during his leisure time.
