Edith is passionate about improving transportation services and accessibility for the needs of older adults. She firmly believes that enhancing older people’s accessibility from home to destination conveniently leads to achieving inclusion.
Edith was a member of the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee (RAC) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau from 2012-2018. In the period of 2010-2023, she was affiliated with people with disabilities and people with chronic diseases as the chairperson of the Accessible Transport and Travel Committee of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation.
In the Fellowship, Edith hopes to build off her past work and achieve something even more impactful. She is exploring a fresh project domain where she can channel her long-standing dedication to serving people with disabilities and older adults. By synergizing her expertise with that of her fellow Fellows and Mentors, she aims to cultivate new skills and knowledge.
With more than 10 years of mentorship experience with university undergraduate and post-graduates, and 6 years with coaching on secondary school students with other older adults, Edith aspires to be a Resolve Mentor after the Fellowship.
