Dimple (pseudonym) has been living in Hong Kong for the past ten years, during which she observed the loneliness felt by older adults in Hong Kong. Inspired by such an observation and experience with her elderly parents, she is interested in advocating for improved mental health support for the elderly.
Dimple is eager to bring joy and respect to their lives through meaningful conversations. Her aspiration to join the Fellowship stems from a goal to spread happiness and share stories that inspire and motivate seniors. With a background in volunteering for various NGOs, Dimple is committed to honing her communication skills and fostering gratitude and empathy. Having attended classes on “Voices of Protection” at the Justice Center, she is dedicated to learning how to better support and engage with the older adults community, recognizing the importance of respect and affection in their lives as they age.
