About

Danny Chan

A lecturer at CUHK, Danny believes that talking to people is the best way to learn. He is keen to explore what “The Third Act” of life could be and to pass the wisdom of the aging community on to the next generation.

Danny honed his craft as a copywriter in Hong Kong before advancing his career in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. He transformed his digital agency from a small, design-driven team of just a few, to a fully-fledged, idea-driven operation. Danny now spends his work time lecturing at University and has found there is not much difference between being an educator and being a creative director, as both demand the skills to communicate and exchange ideas effectively.

“Considering “Aging with Dignity”, Danny views this through the lens of time: When we were young, we thought time was abundant. We have all the time in the world. As we grow older, we start to feel time is compressed and we never have enough. At some point, time becomes a question: How much of it do we have? He’s now joining Resolve’s Fellowship to further discuss this concept and hopes to be inspired by Fellows with similar visions on dignified aging.”

Danny is an ENFJ and loves making new friends, hearing new stories, and traveling to new places. He also loves his dog, Charlie.
