Payal joined Resolve because of its commitment to empowering marginalised and underrepresented communities. Payal has over 12 years of experience promoting gender equality, supporting refugees, advocating for racial equality, and supporting ethnic minorities in India and Hong Kong.  She is an advocate and enabler of youth-led initiatives and learner-led approaches. Previously she worked at Hong Kong Unison, a grassroots NGO, in different roles of community organizing, youth development, and policy advocacy. She understands the importance of empowering people to realize their rights and giving them the opportunity to participate in society. Born and raised in India, Payal studied at Delhi University, India. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Non-Profit Management at HKU as a part-time student. Outside of work, she loves to read fiction, meditate, and explore new places to eat.
