Mônica was inspired to join Resolve to help empower people from different backgrounds, develop change-makers and support community leaders to build a more inclusive society.

She is the Founder and CEO of FELIZ Consulting, providing coaching and training in the areas of communication skills, management, diversity and inclusion, emotional intelligence and more. She has over 15 years experience in the learning and development space, and is certified with Coach Masters Academy and various psychometric tools including DiSC, TMP and Genos EI.

She is passionate about helping people grow into the best versions of themselves. Originally from Brazil, Mônica arrived in Hong Kong in 1999, earning a degree with first class honours in International Relations and Politics from The University of Hong Kong. She also lived in New York and Singapore, but has called Hong Kong home again since 2013. She has been a social justice advocate since her teenage days and has been an active volunteer with Resolve from the start. She is honoured to join the board of directors in 2021.

On the personal side, Mônica is married, has two teenagers and a dog. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, meditating, doing yoga and running.
